Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on my website using the Wix Editor and I’m trying to make a section stretch to the full height of the viewport (100vh). I’ve tried using the “Stretch” feature and custom code, but I haven’t been able to achieve the desired effect.
Does anyone know a straightforward method within the Wix Editor to set a section’s height to 100vh without needing to use custom code or browser developer tools? Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!
There’s not a native way of doing it, since 100vh
is a responsive measurement, and the Wix editor is an adaptive editor.
That said, a potential workaround is to use a Wix Blocks widget with a height of 100vh, which should push the section to being 100vh, although haven’t personally tested this yet.
If you’re looking to build responsively, I’d recommend Wix Studio
Hi naohlovell,
I use Wix Studio but there is no any settings of height with vh.
I found video from Wix Studio. " How to use Advanced sizing & units with Wix Studio" but the UI they use is different from mine.
I made AI write my first message. why did it say Wiz Editor idk but i use Wix studio and there is no any settings or way to make section full screen height
I think you might be using the Studio Workspace, but created a site in the Wix Editor.
How to tell the difference:
Wix Studio
(Has a dark toolbar at the top with the Studio logo in the top left (Square with a circle inside))
Wix editor
(Has a light toolbar at the top with the Wix logo in the top left)
