How to place code for Trustpilot?

Non coder here, trying to place code for Trustpilot review image and link on my site. I tried the HTML iframe embed but that didn’t show the correct display.
Heres the code minus a few ID pieces:
"

Trustpilot

How do i get this done?
Thanks

Note that this forum is dedicated to Corvid. With that in mind…

This question has already been asked several times. It seems that the script is provided in two pieces, and that both pieces need to be embedded in an HtmlComponent. Do a search and you’ll find posts from other users who are using Trustpilot.

well i thought it was for code and it seems it would be relevant for you to help users place code onto our site using the elements available. But thanks. i did a search

Yisrael is correct here, you are not asking about an issue that involves the use of Wix Corvid, you are asking about the integration of html code that has been supplied to you by an outside company, TrustPilot.

Therefore if you have questions about adding this to Wix, then that should have already been displayed in TrustPilot’s own support pages, if not then you were best asking TrustPilot’s own support about this first.

As for html codes, some will be just the one piece of html code that can be added simply into a html iframe on your page, whereas others will most often contain two pieces of code with one going into the tracking and analytics section in the head section and the other piece going on your page where needed.

Finally, as for helping others to place code, well that is already clearly stated in Wix Support help pages already.
https://support.wix.com/en/article/adding-html-code
https://support.wix.com/en/article/guidelines-and-limitations-of-the-html-code-and-embed-a-site-elements
https://support.wix.com/en/article/embedding-custom-code-to-your-site

Plus, clearly documented in it’s own API reference section too.

@givemeawhisky guy why are so you absolutely LACKING IN ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS?? Get a professional screen name!!
I already solved the issue. You dont care to help when its not exactly Corvid or your issue, but good companies help their customers by being professional and polite!!! Take some lessons on people and writing skills!!!

@jacklinks19

…guy why are so you absolutely LACKING IN ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS?? Get a professional screen name!!

Well it’s a good job that I don’t work in customer service and don’t need those skills…:joy:

Plus, if I wanted to use a professional screen name then I would have done, that is my own prerogative to use whatever screen name I wish to use on this forum.

Obviously, if I was a Wix Mod here on this forum or working for Wix, then yes I would have to use a more appropriate name for myself, however, as that is not the case here I am free to choose whatever name I choose.

Now get back to your high horse and I’ll go back to my glass :tumbler_glass::sunglasses: whilst I proof read your own comments for poor grammar, punctuation and spacing errors.

Eight mistakes and counting in just the five lines of your post.

So, would you like me to reply back to yourself in an unprofessional, rude and downright obnoxious tone of reply like yours now or are we done…

OK kids, let’s play nice. @Jack Link, you should realize that @givemeawhisky is not affiliated with Wix, so he can be as rude and unprofessional as he desires. However, I am sure that many users here in the forum will attest to the generosity, helpfulness, and politeness of whisky. IMHO, you can’t get a more professional screen name than givemeawhisky - it says it all.

Now as for me, I am employed by Wix, and you will find that I am the epitome of politeness and professionalism.

The fact remains that this forum is dedicated to discussions regarding Corvid programming . Questions regarding embedded HTML code, analytics, Javascript fundamentals, SEO, and single malt, are best left to the service provider (for embedded HTML) or appropriate forum for the subject in question. For Wix questions, you should contact the Wix support team where you will get professional and focused assistance.

We should all have a drink together some time.

Just googling adding trust pilot widget to Wix and came upon this gem of an interaction. Well, I’m non the wiser re widget placement, but I have been entertained. No whisky involved.
