Hello… can anyone help me out. The PageSpeed Insight shows me the top opportunity is to reduce unused JavaScript am I able to reduce it???
I am only having 3 apps Wix member area, Wix store, and Wix Pro gallery. all the product images are under 75kb still my First Input Delay is 4 to 5 sec. Page speed insight performance is 26 on mobile and 93 on desktop.
I am using an item page as my product page with the help of content manager and datasets.
please let me know if it’s from my backend or from Wix your comment will save a lot of my time. thanku
Out of my experience, datasets are causing delay-timings.
The more datasets you have integrated, the slower your site will be (my personal experience).
My suggestion is to work more with own custom generated codes. Why?
Here you have the possibility to let your code decide how and when to load data at which part.
You must understand that predefined stuff can not provide all positive features you want to have. It was generated to provide those users who are not able to code, but still be able to generate websites without programming knowledge.
Do you have absolutely no own custom generated code on your site?
How many datasets did you already implement on your site? (on your mentioned problem-page) ?
Hey, Ninja thanku so much for your reply. and am only using 1 dataset on the page. 7 images total size is 378kb, 4 text lines, and 1 add-to-cart button total page size is 1.65MB, and I don’t have any custom-generated code on my website.
it’s working fine on desktop but not on mobile some time it takes 6 to 9 sec to redirect on the cart page after clicking on Add to cart.
not only on my custom product page but also on the wix-store actual product page. am using a business unlimited plan. I regret quitting Shopify and WordPress.
thanks bro for your effort the website is loading good enough but it’s taking 5 to 6 sec to redirect on cart page on mobile. sometimes 9 this is the problem.
