I was wondering if it’s normal for wix sites to load so slowly, for example this one which is just the template (even removed the big picture on the homepage and replaced it) loads pretty slow.

Is this just how Wix behaves, or is it because I’m on a free plan still.

Seems to happen predominantly when logged in.

ran your page through gtmetrix and got a 49% (I’m usually on 99%, its certainly possible to have a fast wix page!)
It certainly feels slow, especially when logged in - I would first remove your page transitions, and maybe consider how many wix apps you have installed? I’m assuming you’ve run all your images through an optimisation process too!
