I have several http-functions and all have stopped working. All I get is 404 errors.
My site has not changed, and these functions have been working for a long time.
The site itself seems to be working ok other wise.
Any ideas as to why they stopped working.
Hi Jim,
Can you please share the URL for your site and the steps to reproduce so the team can investigate? Thank you.
site is oakdance.org
example http-function is drumInfo
@sigpoggy Can you provide test credentials or the Editor link to your site (accessible only to Wix staff)? Thanks.

@sigpoggy Thanks. I’ll share this with the QA team and will report back as soon as I have an update.
Hi Jim,
Can you please create a video showing the steps to reproduce the problem, and include any code errors/console logs here? Thanks.
@marlowe-shaeffer Checking my logs, it seems this problem goes back at least to the 18th of this month.
@marlowe-shaeffer Narrowing down the timing: Last worked on the 12th, first fail on the 14th.
@sigpoggy Hi Jim,
QA did a preliminary investigation, but we will need you to submit a Support ticket on this issue so we can investigate further and communicate with you directly. We will also need more information for this case to proceed, including:
-
What kind of request is sent
-
Does it work in Preview mode or when you test via the “test backend function” feature? (see https://take.ms/394lQ )
To create a ticket, please contact Wix Customer Care , click Get Started > Other > and type Velo. That will get your question into the right queue for our advanced support.
Please share the ticket number here so I can track it to make sure you’re getting assistance. Thanks.
@marlowe-shaeffer Due to the bug that prevents dropdowns from working properly in my app in preview mode, I have been testing the affected feature live. By modifying my app to be able to test the feature in preview I discovered the reason http-functions stopped working. I had removed some old files that were no longer used and one of them was being imported in http-functions. Because I had only removed files that were no longer being used, I believed no code changes had been made thus the problem was not induced by me. I somehow missed the import when I did a global search for it.
I fixed the problem. Thanks for your help. The prompt to test in preview got me over the hump.
As a side note, had preview worked properly this issue would have been nipped in the bud. I notice that it still has not been fixed. I reported it and supplied a video showing the issues on the 12th of this month. I hope they are still pursuing the problem as this issue has resulted in a lot of waisted time.
@sigpoggy That’s great news! Glad it’s resolved.
I’ll check on the status of the dropdown bug and report back later in that thread.
