Introduction:
I built Next Slots Pro after wanting a simpler way for visitors to see upcoming Wix Bookings availability directly on a site. Instead of opening the full booking calendar just to check available times, the widget gives them a quick view first.
How I did it:
The app adds a configurable widget to the site. The site owner chooses a booking service, how many upcoming times to display, and the heading and button text.
The widget shows the next available appointment times. When a visitor selects one, it opens the corresponding date in the site’s regular booking calendar, where they can review the options and complete the booking normally.
Tools, Documentation and APIs:
I built it using Wix CLI, the Wix app development framework, a site widget extension, and Wix Bookings APIs. The final booking remains within the regular Wix Bookings flow and follows the site’s existing service schedules and settings.
