I want to duplicate a site for a client for his backup in Wix. Its greyed out. I have given myself and the owner full permissions as site owner. And the client can’t make a backup either when in his Wix account. I duplicated sites before. I have checked permissions. What am I missing. All permissions have been turned on for both of us.

I finally had a chance to contact WIX support directly. They where very helpful.
This is the email they sent after investigating my setup. It did fix my back up issues.

The issue you are experiencing was investigated by our developers and they have determined that this is expected. The issue is caused because the site experiencing the duplication issue is a studio site but the owner of the site does not have a studio account.

Once the owner switches to a studio account they will be able to duplicate the site, site co-owners are unable to create duplicates.
