Lost Site Transfer Panic!

First time with Wix collaboration, please keep in mind, complete noob.

Customer has a Premium site, created by a Wix agency. Customer connected the domain and then found out everything was wrong. They quickly changed their domain records back to their old site and asked if we could help. We bought a Wix template and recreated the site with everything working correctly.

I’ve transferred ownership to the Customer’s email Premium site and selected “Keep my role as Co-Owner of this site after the transfer”. The customer has confirmed they’ve received and accepted email and I’ve received confirmation email “Website Successfully Transferred”.

The site has vanished completely. It’s no longer listed in My sites. The existing ‘wrong’ template is still in the customer’s Premium site. When I click the ‘manage site’ button in the confirmation email I get Wix 403 error.

Does anyone know where has the site gone, if I’ve missed something obvious or who I can contact about this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Support have the site, but I’m no longer owner or co-owner and all they can offer is “please submit ownership verification form to regain access to website”.

They are “really sorry for this experience” but they are " afraid we need a special teem to take a look at this case."

hmm…It seems that the site is in a floating state, with no one holding access rights to it. :thinking:
