List individual classes spread out through the year

What are you trying to achieve:
I have a client who wants to list educational 1-day courses she has the same class running 3-5 times a year in each service.
The classes teach the same thing but are not connected so the course selection won’t work for me as that caters for multiple sessions in one course.
So you would think the CLASS feature would be right to choose but it is forcing me to repeat the course every week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or 4 weeks.
The class is held on certain dates throughout the year so this isn’t viable!
I just want to turn the repeat function OFF and add dates the course is held on throughout the year at my choosing.
Surely this is a basic thing we should be able to do. I need a solution ASAP as the educational side of the business is going live in a week. They came up with a workaround of listing each date as a separate service which is completely unviable, for one they all need to show up in the same calendar and two the client is paying for my time.
