If I’m reading this correctly, it sounds like you want to Flip a section to be Vertical. https://support.wix.com/en/article/editor-x-managing-your-page-sections#changing-the-orientation-of-a-page-section
Yes.
Glad that someone from the Editor X Team corresponded. The whole process of building a website doesn’t help the intuition of a designer who is not related to digital design. I found it very hard to build my website through your platform. I had to adjust ot in every resolution!
Thanks for the feedback @agathikatseni89 . If you want to let us know what the main issues you were having or what would have helped getting started, let us know. We are working on the onboarding process so any feedback would be great.
@Rob First of all the editor adjustments are not the same with the Preview. Sometimes the preview is not the same with the website that I launched. Image overlaps the above or below section whereas I put the subject(image, text) on the middle of the section in order to have significant distance from the section’s boarders. Also, I encounter problem with the “publish” action. It doesn’t correspond and a message of “technical problems” pops out. Generally, I am not satisfied with your product.
@agathikatseni89 Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the preview not matching the live site, it could be that the site is a different viewport from the preview width.
As for the images overlapping, using stacks and grids helps to prevent overlapping of elements.
For the issue with publishing, does it resolve with some troubleshooting or is it an occurring issue? If the issue persist, recommend contacting our team to report this .
I am using grids in order to overcome the issue of overlaping.
For example: In mobile version, I added a section (call it A) with Min H 25px. The added section above this(call it B), has Height 1400 px and Min H 1400 px. When I minimize the section A(drom 25px to 10 px, which I want), the 1st added photo of section B is below the section A
Thanks for the images and the measurements used. From testing it on my end, I think the grid sizing might be larger than the section it’s in and is overflowing onto the next section. I made a video explanation using a test site on my account but best thing would be to not have the section height be exactly 1400 pixels. For me when setting up the grid and adding a gap, it makes the grid bigger than the section and causes the elements to overflow .
As mentioned in the last bit, instead of using blank sections to act as a buffer, once the section height is set up, would recommend using padding on the section instead. Helps to keep the layers of the page organized so you only have sections with actual content.
