I have two questions regarding the Wix booking system.

What are you trying to achieve:

  1. I want to ensure that when I add guests manually using their email addresses, their names show up correctly. I initially added guests with just their email addresses, then added their names afterward, but it still only displays the email addresses. How can I get the names to display instead of just the email?

  2. I’ve also added custom fields in booking list, and I want these custom fields to appear in the generated Excel file. However, these fields are not showing up. Additionally, the booking list window is very narrow, making it difficult to scroll through the list. Is there a way to adjust this or resolve these issues?

What have you already tried:

  • I have tried manually editing guest details, but it only updates partially (name field not appearing as expected).
  • I have explored the settings for custom fields in the booking system but haven’t found a way to include them in the export file.

Additional information:
Any guidance or tips on how to adjust the booking list view and ensure custom fields are exported properly would be appreciated.

#1 - It seems that you’re booking a session for a contact that doesn’t exist. During the booking process, you’re entering the email in the name field. After booking, when you update the contact info with the correct name, the appointment still shows the email address. This is expected because the information in the popover comes from the booking entity, which is static and doesn’t update after the contact info is changed. You can fix this by canceling and re-booking the session. For future bookings, it will display the updated name correctly.
