If a mistake is made while working with Corvid, is it easy for someone who does not understand programming to fix it?

Hello, a dear community of Corvid programmers! I plan to implement Corvid into my site and a number of sites of my clients, but I do not understand anything about programming, so there is a high risk that I will delete the necessary line with the code or add five extra lines of code, this is also possible if I hire a Corvid specialist from which there can be gaps in knowledge of Corvid, JavaScript, Node.JS of very different depths! In the case of working with a site with Corvid turned off, I can return the site to the previously saved version yesterday or two months ago, can I use similar methods to correct errors in Corvid, or do I need a person who understands programming and can remove unnecessary lines of code or add by mistake deleted lines with code or fix bugs in existing code? Are there any methods for eliminating errors made in Corvid that a person who does not know programming can cope with? Thanks for your attention and help in solving my problem!

You can’t expect to implement Corvid into a site unless you understand programming concepts. You can’t just “copy and paste” code and expect it to work. You need to understand what’s happening if you expect to be able to write code that does what you want.

To learn about programming with Corvid, read the following articles that will help you start working with Corvid:

If you find that you are having difficulty with code and need assistance, you may want to check out the Wix Marketplace - it’s a place where you can look for Corvid experts for hire.

Thanks for the detailed consultation! I realized that programming is infinitely difficult and the corvid environment is most likely much more complicated than it seems at first glance! But I still do not understand the answer to my main question, if I do not cope with the corvid environment (not smart enough) I can simply turn off corvid so that the sites become exactly the same as they were before Corvid 1 was turned on whitewert 2 superuborka (I do not put the ending com or links, since the system for some reason does not allow such posts of mine, probably this is due to the fact that I am new to the forum.) or after disabling Corvid there will be a number of software glitches due to incorrect programming in the Corvid environment when it was enabled, to fix which will need specialists who know how to work with the Corvid environment? The Wix Marketplace is not yet for me, since I do not yet have free money in circulation that I can give to a specialist, and usually, no one wants to work on the terms of receiving part of the money from customer orders.

@velikoredcaninstanis If you have not enabled Corvid, then your site will not be using Corvid and you will not need to deal with code. However, if you enable Dev Mode (ie. Corvid) and then add code, whatever code you have will no longer work if you disable Dev Mode .

If you need further details or clarification, I would recommend contacting Wix Customer Care .

I wrote, " However, if you enable Dev Mode (ie. Corvid) and then add code, whatever code you have will no longer work if you disable Dev Mode . " Apparently my brain was out to lunch when I wrote that. It is incorrect.

Dev Mode is just that - an Editor mode . You can be in Dev (develop) mode, or in standard (design mode). If you add code in Dev Mode, it won’t go away. So, if you want to experiment with coding, you might first want to clone (duplicate) your site and experiment with the code on the cloned site. Then if you’re not happy, you can just throw away the experimental cloned site.

As I mentioned before, you might want to contact Wix Customer Care for further details.
