im trying to achieve whats mentioned in this thread https://www.wix.com/code/home/forum/community-discussion/image-from-media-manager-dataset-to-htmlcomponent .
the limitaion above was getting the url from wix database. i found a workaround.
export function text93_viewportEnter() {
//Add your code for this event here:
//convert the wix:image url to something that can be displayed inside html-component
let imageSRC = $w("#dynamicDataset").getCurrentItem().footStoolImage;
let strReturnImage = "";
if (imageSRC.startsWith("image:")) {
let wixImageURL = "";
wixImageURL = "https://static.wixstatic.com/media/";
let wixLocalURL = "";
wixLocalURL = imageSRC.replace('image://v1/', '');
wixLocalURL = wixLocalURL.substr(0, wixLocalURL.lastIndexOf('/'));
wixLocalURL = wixLocalURL.substr(0, wixLocalURL.lastIndexOf('/'));
strReturnImage = wixImageURL + wixLocalURL;
$w("#text93").text = strReturnImage;
$w("#html1").postMessage(strReturnImage);
} else {
strReturnImage = imageSRC;
}
return strReturnImage;
}
now i want to send the url to a image zoom plugin and display the image on it… not quite sure how to use the received data on the html
<!DOCTYPE html>

<script type="text/javascript">
function init () {
// when a message is received from the page code
