I’m not sure if I’m just not seeing it or if this would actually be a feature request.
In the normal wix editor there is the option of using and image as a button (using an icon button) - with the related hover and click behaviours so that you can select a second image to show when you hover on the image. There does not seem to be a easy way to do this on the Editor X button options - which seem to only allow text.
Should I be just adding a link to an image and then digging into the corvid on mouse over/on click code to create the same on mouse over change for an image?
I’m pretty novice at code… so if someone can point me at something that I can use I’d appreciate it.

I’m Roni, Product Manager from the Editor X team.
You are correct, the Image Button element available in the Wix Editor is not currently supported in Editor X. We are however at work on a product that will allow you to easily create such an effect and much more.
In the meantime, you can indeed achieve this using Corvid. I could not find a specific link to share with you explaining how to create this very behavior. But, I can recommend you try out this even simpler interaction of showing and hiding an image on click . Once you get the hang of that, it’s not a stretch to create the same result, triggered by mouseIn and mouseOut events.
I recommend you try and get acquainted with Corvid, at this level it is pretty simple, and only requires a bit of experimenting and learning to get the hang of it.
