Editor X does not seem to have the new Text & Icon buttons introduced in 2020. Unless this is a mistake on my part, I do not see them in the Add panel. Am I missing something here or is this a design omission intended to be fixed?

Currently, Editor X does not support text buttons that have icons to their side, like in the Wix Editor. As of now, only text buttons are supported.
You can add this as a Feature Request in the Wish list category in this forum and let the @wearepages know about it.
Note: If you are designing a website that desperately needs such icon buttons, I’d suggest using an image editing software such as Photoshop or Canva and designing images that look like buttons (that’s how I’ve done it), then adding these images in place of the buttons, and linking them to the desired pages, sections, etc. in your website.
