Hello Wix Community,
I’m seeking advice on how to comply with the EU Omnibus Directive, specifically the requirement to display the lowest price of a product during the 30 days preceding a price reduction. This is outlined in Article 6a of the Price Indication Directive (Directive 98/6/EC), which mandates that any announcement of a price reduction must also indicate the prior price, defined as the lowest price applied during the 30 days before the reduction.
Has anyone successfully implemented this on their Wix store? I’m particularly interested in:
• Methods or best practices for tracking and displaying the lowest price within the specified timeframe.
• Any existing Wix features or third-party integrations that facilitate compliance with this directive.
• Custom code solutions using Velo by Wix to automate this process.
Any guidance, examples, or resources would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
