Include a page to the sitemap while it's not in the navbar (Menu)

Hello,

I want to create couple of regional pages for SEO benefit, but I don’t want to list them within the navigation bar(menu).

Is there a way to add those pages to the sitemap as they are currently not getting added :frowning:

Do you mean that all pages marked as “Hide from menu” and not in the Sitemap?

That’s correct Andreas. Currently I have one page hidden from menu and it’s not in the sitemap, but I would like it to be as I want it discovered on Google/Bing (I had to manually submit the page throught GSC)

So you have hidden it from menu but you have the checkbox “Hide this page from search results” not ON?

If I test on my Wix Show site to hide a page from menu but have activated that it should be visible for search engines I can still see it in sitemap.xml

<loc>http://www.wixshow.com/contact</loc>
<priority>0.5</priority>
<lastmod>2018-11-12</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>

</url>

And if I select that is should be hidden from Search Engines it dissapears from sitemap.xml.

So check that setting because hiding from menu should not take it away from sitemap.xml.

That’s correct. Hide this page from search results is not on.

Hmm, odd. I can see it now in the sitemap and I didn’t change any of the setting. Maybe it takes a while to submit the page to the sitemap. Thanks for the help :slight_smile:
