Going through the forum, and having struggled with this issue myself and wasted countless hours, I have come to understand that it is near to impossible to use other third party social sharing tools from entities such as AddThis and ShareThis on Wix. It’s understandable if Wix wants to keep its customers within it’s native app environment and have them/us use the native Wix apps for social sharing functions. However, if this is the case then Wix has to step up the game and provide more options for sharing (in particular more tool options such as Print, Link Sharing, social sharing customization with more design choices). Currently the options within Wix for such social sharing is woefully inadequate forcing us to waste valuable hours trying to figure something out with third party options only to find a) it doesn’t work b) and seemingly, there does not seem to be any useful support provided to make it work. Addthis is used by websites as major as National Geographic. Wix, help us figure this out and improve integration with AddThis, ShareThis and others. Or, better, please improve the Wix native social sharing options and designs to match what is offered by these entities! This is quite a frustrating situation! I would rather we not have to waste time writing such long posts in the forum explaining the situation and asking for help when we should be adding valuable functions to our sites. Please do something! Thank you.
