I work for a high school and since we are in a lockdown and e-learning may be the future, I was wondering if there is a way to create a learning management system directly on Wix.

Lms has processes like, managing Teachers and students and display content dynamically i don’t think so theres any template like that anna
You should better code your own “Learning-Management-System” by using your own custom elements, databases and all other included page-elements. This way you will be totaly flexible without any boundaries.

Do some brainstorming:
-what should your Management-System be able to handle?
-which features should be included?
-how would look like the working flow of your management-system?
-and so on… -
Create and design your pages, to get a better overview about, how it will look like at the end.

@russian-dima Agreed. I don’t think there are any templates that you would be able to easily adapt to fit a LMS function.
Although, I think a lot of the functionality needed could be done without needing to code much.
You’d create two different Member Permissions for both student and teacher and then link them up to different pages that display different information for their needs. Then link these to databases and sets so information is displayed correctly depending on roles etc.
Use the file management system for sharing content, forums for ‘Class Discussions’.
Admittedly, if you wanted specific functions coding might be easier. But I definitely think it could be done with small/no coding. It might take time to set up and take a lot of brain power to get your head around it, but I think it could be done.
