Is there a security issue we should know about?

@aleksander-denga @brett-haralson @yisrael-wix

Just got this after attempting to post a code block on the forum. It seems like this is either a band-aid for a security issue or my tinfoil hat being triggered by someone’s oopsie…

Speaking of which, any response to the following??

Not sure about that error. Most likely the thread got closed?

Thanks for the quick response, Brett. This is the thread in question, and OP had the exact same problem.

Yeah doesn’t appear to be locked - but I’m on mobile web.

@brett-haralson I’ll test it out here.

dloads = […item._id, dloads];
Promise.all([
() => /fn here/,
wixLocation.to(‘/’),
])

@brett-haralson Weird, maybe that thread is corrupt or OP has been falsely flagged as malicious?

Just to add to this, they could not post a certain block of code and had to add it via a third party and when I tried pasting it myself into the forum again, it came up with that exact same error as you are getting too.

Everything else was fine with the rest, it was just this certain block of code for both myself and the poster that it would simply not be allowed to be published and would always error up, regardless of logging in and out, clearing cache and cookies and so on etc.

This is the block of code that for some reason was causing the error and could not be posted straight into the forum itself.

Hi,

The forum spam filter is flagging this code snippet as potentially malicious due to a combination of keywords.
We’ll make sure to mitigate the issue.

Thanks for letting us know

Edit: Should be fine now.
