Hi everyone!
I’m currently facing an issue with Wix Studio animations, and I’m hoping someone can help me out.
Problem:
I’m trying to use some of the built-in animations provided by Wix Studio, but they don’t seem to work on real mobile devices—even the basic ones like fade effects.

You can preview the project here: [On WixStudio]
What I’m Trying to Achieve:
I want to implement smooth animations on my website using Wix Studio’s animation tools, but while everything seems to work fine on mobile simulators (both Wix Studio’s and most web browsers’), the animations are not functioning at all on my actual mobile phone. The only things that work are positional elements like sticky and pinned effects.
Steps I’ve Already Taken:
- Previewed the site on Wix Studio’s mobile simulator, and everything works perfectly.
- Tested the site on a web browser’s mobile simulation tool, and it still works fine.
- Tried accessing the site on my physical mobile phone, but none of the animations (aside from sticky and pinned effects) seem to work.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue, or does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I’d appreciate any insights!
Thanks in advance for your help!
Checked your website. All animations are working on my mobile . Both image moves in and fade in animations.
I was able to see the animation clearly on my device too!
Yes, you’re right. I have tried in some friends mobile and all is working perfect. I think my device is the problem. I think I will go for some updates.
Thank you very much !
You are right. Sorry my phone is the problem.
Thank you for your help !
Hi, same problem with mine. Animation did not appear on my 16 pro but was working fine on my mothers 16. Any idea how to fix this issue?
For anyone finding this post very late as I have, the primary issue with Wix Studio animations not working on mobile (esp iPhone) is the unfortunate fact that a user can choose to “Reduce Motion” in their [ Settings > Accesibility > Motion ] preferences.
This means if you are using animation for semi-utilitarian needs ( like moving a pinned header out of the way by shrinking it ) … you can’t! Because even if the user doesn’t activate Reduce Motion themselves ( which is also a battery-saving hack ), it may still be activated by their phone when in low battery mode.
So essentially, I guess we need to enable “Reduce Motion” on our testing devices and make sure the site is usable that way before committing to any motion effects.
Hope this helps!
