Issues linking slider gallery to different collections

Hi Guys,
I would be grateful for some advice. I’m in the process of building an online store selling homewares and am desperately trying to do the following tasks, but with no success:

  1. I have a Wix Pro Gallery on my main page (collage format) with a dozen or so products populating the gallery. I would like each photo/product to be able to be clicked, leading the customer directly to the product itself, as per the slider gallery. However, i don’t have the option to do this.
  2. I have a Wix slider gallery set up at the bottom of the pages of each individual product allowing customers to view related products (a ‘you may also like…’ section). However, I am unable to have separate galleries on each product type so that I can recommend products relevant to the main product on the page.
    If there’s anything at all you can do to help, that would so soooo appreciated.

I’ll try and explain a bit better. When I click on a specific item on the site e.g. a ceramic pot, I have set up a slider gallery beneath the product names ‘you may also like’. I really want this section to show products within the relevant collection i.e. candles. I can do this no problem by linking the slider gallery to the candles collection.

The problem I have is that I can’t then link the slider gallery to a different collection when I click on, say, a table, and link the gallery to tables/furniture. All that slider gallery shows is products in the candles collection!

I guess I want each slider gallery to be different depending on the product selected but am unable to do this :frowning:

Hi Oli,

Unfortunately, you are right. This is not yet supported.
We are currently working on enabling all sorts of integrations between Wix Code and Wix Stores.
Hopefully, with those new integrations in place, you’ll be able to do that and much more.

Thanks Itai, much appreciated! Is this something that a person much smarter than I am could do using Wix Code?

Do you guys have an ETA on when you’re planning on rolling out the new integrations?

At the moment it is not possible, even using Wix Code.
Also, we can’t yet provide an ETA, but please stay tuned here .
