Jittery Animation When Using Delay

Has anyone run into jittery animations? I’m working on a site that plays an animated gif on load. To give it time to loop through, I have the hero section on delay before revealing (“layer” wise, once the section reveals, the gif just continually plays underneath).

We’ve noticed that the Editor X animations stutter when the delay triggers. When I take the delay off, they’re super smooth. Link here to see the issue: https://www.hustleandco.com/home-new-2

Any idea if this is something I can fix on my end? Or is it just a platform issue?

@certifiedcode Check out this screen recording. At 00:03 you can see the animation jitter issue I’m talking about when the headline fades/floats in. Did it not happen for you when you visited?

for me the animation is smooth on Chromium browsers, but jittery on Safari.
