Question:
Are there known issues when working through breakpoints?
Product:
Wix Studio Editor
What are you trying to achieve:
I’m finding it very frustrating that changing something in at one breakpoint sometimes does, and sometimes does not affect all breakpoints. And I cannot work out how or why this happens.
I would be great for there to be a feature that asks if this change should affect all or just this breakpoint.
I designed a full website, many hours, leaving mobile view until last. When I went and reworked for mobile (which is far slicker in Editor btw), it was only after I finished that I noticed the ENTIRE site was changed. So many wasted hours.
I couldn’t even go back in the history, because the history panel did not show things correctly, nor at different break points.
Now I’m having to check EVERY change I make on ALL break points, just in case. Very frustrating.
It’s also exhausting trying to work out what functionality/style options are available on Editor vs Editor X vs Studio Editor.
Studio Editor is advanced in many ways, but seems to have dropped some really good options (like adding shadows to sticky elements, or padding on menu buttons). And sometimes the functionality is THRE but in a completely different place (like adding anchors to a page).
@pamela Here’s what I was talking about: some of the functions used in editorX are no longer present in Wix Studio. This isn’t right, given that Wix Studio is supposed to be more advanced than EditorX, and if certain editorX functions are no longer present in Wix Studio when you migrate, this will cause major problems…
It’s impossible to understand what’s been removed as an option, and what’s simply been moved elsewhere too.
I feel like I’m having to learn a new system, except that might be easier because I wouldn’t have any expectations on functionality, or how to access it.
