Launching site in new country (diff. language) & SEO

Hi there, Wix makes it easy to add a language to your site. However, what if you want to enter a new country (with a different language) and you’d like to rank well on Google? The problem I’m facing is that while Wix makes it easy to add a language to a site it doesn’t allow for different page titles and descriptions which are crucial for SEO, in addition to not being able to change the URL which is also important. What is the recommended best solution if the site should also rank well on Google in a new country which has a different language, if…:

  1. I’d like to only pay for 1 Wix account
  2. I want localized page titles / descriptions and URLs
  3. I want to take advantage of the Domain Authority of the main domain
  4. Site maintenance / updating shouldn’t be a massive pain

One idea I had is just duplicating existing pages, translating them, and then changing the page title / description and URLs. However, it seems like the footer of the page would remain in the main language (English). This isn’t ideal, but perhaps acceptable. Also, point 4) wouldn’t be fulfilled, but again perhaps acceptable if there’s no other way around this.

Any other ideas or feedback on the approach above? Thanks!

Just spoke with Wix, basically here’s the Spiel: You can actually change the page title, description and keywords into your desired language and it will not affect your main language. So that’s good news. However, you can’t have custom URLs, so if your URLs are in English then you’re stuck with that. You also can’t have a page in another language and hide the main language (but vice versa you of course can). Still some work to do here for Wix…
