Please forgive any lack of my doing full ‘due diligence’ in researching some aspects of this question - but I’m feeling slightly overwhelmed and NOT yet willing to give up and dive into the world of wordpress plugins, although there are definitely a million of options re what I’m wanting to do.
Long story short, I’m wanting to monetize a (crazy) content idea by creating an opt-in membership that would allow guests not just to view daily content (they’re daily riddles) but to opt in to paid monthly membership option that would allow them to have first-of-day solves put them on a leaderboard. Non-members would still be able to see the daily riddles…I’m sure just via regular blog format…
Main Question: is the wix leaderboard option still basically a DIY build from database you create? (This is most recent answer I found (good video, just fairly involved) and maybe there’s a more updated solution?
Any other input anyone cares to add re how to enable paid subscribers to access leaderboard is more than appreciated, although probably a headache to answer, lol!
