The Tracking and Analytics has opened up for me. Yesterday I have done some Google Tag Manager’s implementation to my site and it works nicely. One of the tag that I use is to track Internal Link Clicks . The thing is any button / text that are linked using Wix Code can’t be recognized by GTM as a link click. Well I don’t know why. Though linking using the traditional way works just fine.
Aside from that, I think there might be a gap of page changes in Google Analytics when using GTM as the medium. Actually the pageviews in GTM debug mode always triggers in every page changes, but the Real-Time report in GA just doesn’t cycle with it. I don’t think this is a problem with Wix, but well let me just say it here.

Hi, am planning to implement GTM on my site now, but will leave the GA tag as-is in Wix for now (will not migrate it to GTM). What is your feedback from your implementation. Have you also kept GA tag outside of GTM - and does it work fine?
Team,
A newsletter subscribe click still does not register as a click with GTM is that normal? Thanks!
Well I have the same probelm with a PDF Viewer App from WIX. I have no gtm.clicks and no variables when I click on Download or Print PDF. I need to track it, since this my Websites USP. Did you find some solutions guys? Thanks a lot
PS: some guy on google forum said smth about using click link triggers?
I had a brief conversation with the GTM expert at our agency, who never used Wix. He could not get it to work. In my case with the issue seems to be that the subscription form is hosted somewhere else (ShoutOut). Really need guidance from Wix
