I have no problem uploading single track audio .mp3 files to a Wix page, but I need to link to them from a page containing list of text headings. I’ve not yet found a way to do this, as I can create the links, but whenever I modify a text link to point to an mp3 file, there is no error message, but the mp3 is just ignored.
Hi.
Can you please elaborate how the .mp3 file is being uploaded?
Is your site allows users to upload mp3 files? Or is it something else?
Regards,
Genry.
Hi Genry -
No, users don’t upload the audio files, only the site master does it on a monthly basis. They are instructional talks about gardening for the Central Oregon Master Gardener Association. The problem is that the uploaded audio widgets are too small to contain the file descriptions, i.e.
“March 16 2018 - The How of Permaculture”
The Master Gardeners are generally retired seniors and can’t make out the text on the audio widget. So, we want for the user to click on the above description text and have it link to the .mp3 file directly.
Thanks,
Pete Glick
Hi again.
I understood the functionality you are trying to achieve. Currently this is not supported. I will forward this to the relevant people and you are welcome to add a feature request in the feature requests forum.

Ok, thanks, Genry.
Exactly. We are a senior adult church and I am trying to provide a link to the sermon each week. I created a button that says “Listen” but you can only link documents to a button, not mp3 files. That seems silly. I am having to create a playlist and it is cumbersome. If you can link to a document, you should be able to link to an mp3 file.
You might want to check out the Wix AudioPlayer as that should be suitable for your needs.
