Linking Stripe to your account for iDeal

Hi everyone!

I have just started working with Wix and already love the endless design possibilities and options for the store. However, I know that Wix does not have a direct link with iDeal.
And seeing as I am going to sell mainly in the Netherlands and iDeal is basically the only online payment provider, I NEED iDeal.

I know it’s possible through Stripe, but I have no idea how. I’m not bad with technical issues but I’m realizing that this is way too complicated for me as I can’t even decide on how to implement the API keys of Stripe to my Wix account.

Stripe does provide iDeal, so it’s only logical to think that it would be possible if I’ve linked Stripe, iDeal will be linkable too. I just have to find a way, can you guys help me out with the next steps of linking Stripe as my main payment provider?

Hi Kashin,

Integration with Stripe has been discussed in a number of threads here in the Wix Code forums. You can do a search and maybe one of the suggestions proposed will work for you.

I’m sorry, I just noticed them. However I have another question. Have you noticed any Wix users being able to implement iDeal through Stripe yet?

So since the last time we spoke I’ve been doing a lot of research and I’ve figured out that I have to implement iDeal using coding in Checkout. Do you know where I can find that page? I already know how to turn on the coding in development mode, but then how do I get to Checkout and implement a coding?
