I was writing a new blog post and when I tried to exit I could not save. This is because the blog post had been auto saved so it would not let me save. I closed it assuming it had saved because it said so, but when I looked at my blog overview, the post had vanished because it had not been saved. I need this post back as quick as possible. Can this be recovered? I really really cannot afford to lose this post and quite frankly this is a ridiculous error on Wix’s part.

At the risk of sounding overly simplistic, where have you looked for the post? You said you looked in the overview….does that include looking in the drafts folder? If autosave is on, it should be there. If it is not, perhaps contact Wix support to notify them of the problem.
Again, at the risk of recommending something you may already be doing, I find it useful to create my blog posts in a separate space, such as Google Docs or my notes app, then copy and paste the content into my blog post before publishing and formatting. It is a simple way to have a backup in case there is a problem.
