My site give education on course and video. I dont do this site for commercial but to create a interaction on site i use Loyalty Point system. Whenever someone reply to comment or engage in activity they will earn point. I use Wix Loyalty for this.
I locked my video and set up price, and intend for the member to use the credit that they got to buy those videos. So basically, no one actually have to pay any money and i dont need to use check out fuction for real at all, i thought every time the payment will be 0 since they all will be using loyalty point to buy it, no need to pay for real.
However, when i use Wix video or Wix pricing plan to lock video, upon check out it will use small check out box, where there will be no option for people to redeem they loyalty points. The function simply not there.
I try to set up as Wix store instead. Zip video into a file and sell as product in store. When check out, the check out page is different. It’s huge page where you need to fill address and all kind of info. And this page has a box for people to redeem the loyalty points.
How should i fix this problem? it seem i need to write code for checking out when using Wix video? I have no idea about coding to begin with > <
I dont mind if in the end i need to hire someone to write the check out custom for me.
