Hi, I’m looking for the best way to do this in Wix if it is at all possible.
In effect we have an umbrella company, which has 20 companies which are part of it.
The umbrella company will have information and files on it that needs to be on all the other sites. These files change regularly, so it would be perfect if they could just be managed on the one site but then update/sync to every other site instantly.
Each of the 20 sites needs to have the same template but will have different colours and a different logo.
Each of the 20 sites will have the same page structure, but with different content, plus perhaps 10 unique pages per site.
Each of the 20 sites will have its own editor to update their own parts.
I originally thought of creating 21 wix sites and looking for a way to pull certain pages across from the umbrella site to keep them live.
I then began to think about whether or not it would be possible to do in just one site, as it would make sharing the data much easier. I’m thinking that the main site would have links to all the individual sites.
Is it possible to…
Change the colour and logo depending on the domain name used to access the site?
Could it go to a different page depending on the domain name used to access the site?
Could I assign content editors to specific pages?
Are there any particular issues to doing it this way?
If this fails and I have to create 21 separate sites, what is there best way to pull live content from the umbrella company to the other websites?
