Managing Multi-State Box states not working

Question:
Are Multi-state Boxes broken? The EditorX editor won’t let me make any changes to any state beyond the first state.

What are you trying to achieve:
I’m using Multi-State boxes on multiple pages on my site, and it won’t let me make changes to any state beyond the first state. No matter whether I click “Manage States” and choose another state, OR if I try to choose the other states using the Layers panel, it won’t open any state other than the first state. For example, here’s what the Layers panel looks like:

Every state has both an Image and a Video placeholder in it, but it won’t let me access any states other than “#state1”.

What have you already tried:
I even tried duplicating the first state and seeing if the duplicated one will open, but it won’t.

Anyone else having a similar issue or have any suggestions?

I can understand why this is frustrating. Unfortunately, I haven’t come across this before so not aware of any workarounds to solve this.

That being said, I’d recommend reaching out to Wix Support as they’ll be able to look into it in further detail. It helps the teams track any known issues and resolve them quicker.
