Migrating from WEBs need help.

I have had my site with WEBs for 9 years. I design and sell circuit boards worldwide. The site is GuitarPCB.com and with that said I have had nothing but trouble, downtime and issues for the last 2 years costing me 16k alone last year. Now their latest issue is with not updating Captcha Code V1 which Google made obsolete in march. This is May 18th and they still have no clue or update in sight despite multiple tickets.

I have decided to go with another web host like WIX which I am practicing with at the moment.

  1. I need to know are there any issues at WIX like this or others that would create a bad environment for sales and support?
  2. I have 9 years worth of amazing, informative and innovative support information in my forum and WEBs tells me they do not have an FTP protocol so there is no way for anyone to import the information from the forum or anywhere else on the site. This means I have to build a new site from the ground up and lose my 9 years of valuable forum information. Does anyone have a solution to this dilemma for me?

I literally started this business 9 years ago after a 17 year career when my ex left me alone with 2 children (5 and 7 at the time) to never return or offer any support. I had to quit my job the same week and this was my solution. So far so good till now. I am no expert at this but WEBs down times and lost sales with no fixes in site are literally forcing my hand.

Because of the Captcha error and no fix my people cannot log onto my forum to get support and new people cannot sign up for a new membership or create a new post in the forum.
Thanks for your time. Please help.

Hello,

With Wix, you can build a forum from scratch using Wix Code, then import the forum posts from the old website to the new one you created. Regarding captcha, It’s possible to add its code to an iframe then let the form know the captcha is complete.

Hope this helps you.

Best,
Mustafa.
