What I would like to be able to do is have ‘hover options’ in the product gallery.
For example, the on hover options are quite limited to changes to the image only. There is no on hover options for changing the text that appears.
For example see how on this site, on hover over a product, the price appears.

Wix Store got no such capability at this point on any platform, but you can try build your custom store with Content Manager and setup the hoover interaction for the item inside of the repeater.
