mouse in/out working slow?

Hello, so I created my website and I used wix code to hide elements when your mouse are over them and show them when the mouse is out. I used a translucent button to provide the function. The code is pretty simple, just a onmousein → element hide.

The problem is that it doesn’t seem to work consistently. Is there any thing I can do about it?
