I know this is already in a wish list but a feature I would like to see - a base currency for each product & fetching of real-time mid-market exchange rate to calculate the price in the currency for the country from which the store is being accessed.
You currently have code to fetch exchange rate but need the field computation feature & WIX store opening up to modification to be able to achieve this

Multi-Lingual and Multi-Currency are related features for online stores. I am sure that Wix team is thinking of a comprehensive list of features here. Below is a suggestion of feature to consider while developing this feature.
The system must be able to recognize the location of the visitor and direct them to related language and display relevant currency.
1.a. There must be option for visitors to change their language and currency.
1.b. The website admin must be able to group demographics and set base settings for different group demos.
A live conversion of currency rates would be helpful but it would be worthwhile to consider the below.
2.a. International selling involves multi-channel selling, multi-warehouses. Meaning specific demographics must be linked to specific warehouses. This means that the shipping cost and tax will also be dynamic.
2.b. Pricing strategy will be different for different countries. Hence it would also be nice to customize the pricing for some currencies / demographics.
The multi-language & Multi-currency feature is very essential to E-commerce today. Kindly consider the above points as well - which would put Wix way ahead of the competition.
My company is very much willing to work with you to develop this feature since we use Wix to develop sites for our customers.
Hello! i am Belgian, living in Czech Republic. i started to create a ecommerce website plus blog and i would like to stick to wix. but i just realised that multiple currencies is not an option yet? living in a country with 1 currency, but being surounded by Euro, this is just a basic need. i dont really understand why wix is counting votes for this. most people with this need will choose another builder from the start. thats what i will have to do as well if it is not pbeing produced within the next 6 months.

Well this question/problem was raised around 2 years ago!! Here I am still trying to figure out a way to add a currency converter/widget. How can wix be so stupid?!! It’s such a basic feature to have for an e-commerce site!!! frustrating it is
I’m moving my store from Wordpress to Wix and just now I realize that there is no multicurrency supported. After paying even for that currency convertor that just doesn’t do what we need. I think I just can go to Shopify
