multilingual triggered emails

Hello,

I’m planning to create a new multilingual site (German = primary language, English = secondary language). The site will also include a database made with WIX Corvid to display certain elements on different pages. Also, the site will have sign-up forms for a member area. I plan to set up triggered emails to automatically send out emails to newly signed up members.

What is the best approach here in terms of multilingual? Is it possible that people signing up on the German page will get sent a triggered email in German language and people signing up on the English page will get sent a triggered email in English language? Or is such a split not possible as it’s basically the “same” sign-up form (a “copy” of the German form with English translations) and not a totally separate sign-up form… (WIX support told me that a language-split is not possible with WIX Automations, they suggested to post my question here in the Corvid forum).

Also, I read that inputs in Wix Corvid are of course not automatically translated. Is there a workaround for “English version fields” and “German version fields” or something like that?

Or is it best to not use the WIX multilingual function but have everything set up twice/separately and manually link via a language button in the top right corner for instance?

What do you recommend?

Thanks,
Helene
