Multiple A Records in DNS

ive recently transferred a site over from Cloudflare to wix who host my site for some years now, i notice my SSL certificate was “renewed” on the day that cloudflare deleted our service .

I notice there are 3 A records

www 185.230.63.171 1 Hour
www 185.230.63.186 1 Hour
www 185.230.63.107 1 Hour

en.website cdn1.wixdns. net 1 Hour
www cdn.wixdns. net 1 Hour

NS (Name Servers)

www ns10.wixdns. net 1 Day
www ns11.wixdns. net 1 Day
The Wix Ai help bot told me to delete the 185.230.63.171 & 185.230.63.186 and remove one of the C names. (BELOW)
1. A Records: You should have a single A record pointing to `185.230.63.107`.
  1. CNAME Records: Your CNAME records should point to `pointing.wixdns.net`.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Update A Records:

    • Remove the A records pointing to `185.230.63.171` and `185.230.63.186`.
    • Ensure you have only one A record pointing to `185.230.63.107`.

  2. Update CNAME Records:

    • Change the CNAME records to point to `pointing.wixdns.net` instead of `cdn1.wixdns.net`. |

CHATGPT says NO!

**Here is what i found online. Yes, you should have all three A records for Wix. Your current setup is correct.

Why there are three

Wix uses multiple IP addresses for:

Load balancing

Speed

Reliability

Fail-over protection

So having all three is expected and recommended.

Your A records are correct
185.230.63.171
185.230.63.186
185.230.63.107

Do not delete them.**

I showed this to the Wix Bot that then agreed it was fine, but the Cname needs to chnage

Can anyone confirm of the A records - all 3 are correct and Cname is correct as it stands , or should be change from “cdn1.wixdns.net”
