We had a creative agency setup a wix account for us previously however they no longer exist and we do not have the login to the wix account.

We made a new account, designed a website and tried to attach the domain but we are getting the error of

"This domain can’t be connected manually

This domain is associated with another Wix account. To easily connect it, go back to the automatic connection and we’ll move the domain to this account for you.

If you still prefer to connect the domain manually, you’ll need to remove this domain from the other account first."

We have no way to actually disconnect this domain. They also have it on Cloudfare but we do not have access to that either.

You may need to contact the domain host and try and regain ownership of the domain.
search WHOIS for the domain information

Do not simply change the nameservers until the existing DNS records have been documented. If the business uses email addresses attached to the domain, changing away from Cloudflare without copying the MX, SPF, DKIM and other records could stop the email service.
