On the contrary, the absence of excessive animations and decorations made it simple and user-friendly, allowing for a stress-free experience when browsing talent information. Given the nature of your site, I believe ease of access should take precedence over flashy designs, and in that sense, your approach is highly appropriate. I also got the impression that you have a consistent preference for a chic design, which left a positive impression.
That said, I have a small suggestion regarding the home page. Adding some form of animation to the image transitions, such as a fade effect, could create a smoother and more visually appealing experience.
While Wix Studio allows for more advanced design features, there are still some creative improvements you can make using the standard Wix Editor. For example, you could design the home page with a full-screen image, placing the menu at the top and your company name in the center. Instead of a simple text element for your company name, using an SVG image with a carefully crafted typography might give it a more sophisticated touch. Additionally, creating a stroke animation for the text and embedding it as a Lottie animation could be a captivating visual element.
A common design trend nowadays is foregoing traditional fixed headers in favor of layouts where the entire screen is covered by a single image. This type of structure might also help give your site a fresh and modern impression.
A simple design is undoubtedly wonderful, but incorporating subtle animations can convey to visitors that the simplicity is intentional rather than outdated.
