New feature alert: Design Libraries

With Design Libraries you can reuse assets, colors and typography across your sites, and share them with your teammates.

To start, open Design Libraries from the Tools bar. Create a new library based on the current site theme or My Designs.

Add colors themes and typography to a library from the Theme Manager, or save design assets directly from a page.

This looks promising, but it appears that typography themes don’t include line height and character spacing. I really feel these are crucial for easier, consistent design.

Agreed, while this is a great step forward we really need line height added to the typography tab.

This is beautifully useful! But…
Concerning the color pallet, I wonder why is it again just the 5 main colors and there is no way to add and organize some more colors in use. (Some sites, for many reasons, use more than just 4 or 5.)
We still can’t access other colors unless we want to change a specific item. We can’t delete colors that are not in use, or group them by subjects and uses.
The main UI colors were always well controlled, and now it’s even more convenient, but the secondary colors are still a bulk of dots that we have to distinguish and guess which is which.
All secondary colors should appear on the same panel as well and have the option to add, delete, name and group.

Thanks
Tamara
