New Feature Alert: Layouter Slides

Use the new Layouter option to easily present galleries as slideshows with navigation arrows on any breakpoint.

Add a Layouter and place your content in its items. Change the display layout of your Layouter to Slides in just a click and the items will automatically be rearranged perfectly for you.

Now you can add Navigation arrows - buttons, text or shapes. The arrows are pinned to the Layouter and won’t move with the slides. You can drag them and they’ll stay pinned. You can add as many arrows as needed.

You can control the slides direction, set the number of items you want to present per slide, and show or hide the scroll bar while the slides scrolls.

Items per Slide:

Slider Direction - Left to Right

Slides Direction - Top to Bottom:

Enjoy! :blossom:

Amazing Liron, great work by you and the team and thanks for sharing with the community! Can’t wait to hear everyone’s thoughts

Nice! Looks cool. Been waiting for something like this for a while! Gonna definitely have to mess around with it and try some horizontal pages.

Fantastic - been waiting for this! Just added to site…but where is the “Display” dialog/settings box that you show in the first image? Thanks!

Great addition! +1 to please get this on repeater elements for use cases such as testimonials connected to a dataset.

Great Slides Thanks

Amazed… Thanks for the awaited one. :kissing_heart:

I love this feature… I need to see where I can add this feature layouter.

Love these features for our website. I’ll let you guys know how I use it.

love this feature so much!! Any chance of this having the ability to make the slides slide automatically (eg. every 5 seconds)

This would be the next step type of feature for our devs to release

Hey @jaiden ,
You can create Slides with Repeaters and Velo code.
Here you can see some examples:
https://www.editorxcommunity.com/forum/general-discussions/add-navigation-buttons-to-repeater-or-layouter-slider-mode

Hey @hello15225 ,
You can add this functionality with Velo code:
https://www.editorxcommunity.com/forum/general-discussions/add-navigation-buttons-to-repeater-or-layouter-slider-mode
Another option is to build it with code. Here you can find a step-by-step tutorial to learn how to add custom code to create an infinite horizontal scrolling text animation: https://www.editorx.com/academy/from-x-team/infinite-auto-scroll
In this example we are using running text, but it can work for any type of element.

Woooooowwwwwww. Congratulations to you Wix Team. Congratulations again. I have been looking for this feature.

Thank you so much!

I think I love this ! Going to need to try this out, it seems awesome.

looks good will try it, thx for tip

Great start. After taking a look and messing with it a little bit today:

Would really like to see “scroll snap” to center on this.

And I would love to see these same options for repeaters.

Hey Corey,
Thanks for the feedback!! :sunflower:
We implemented scroll snap to center for all slides so if you will try to scroll the slides manually without the arrows, the items will always snap to center

Regarding Repeaters, I will share this request with the team and in the meantime you can do it with Velo code. Here you can find some examples: https://www.editorxcommunity.com/forum/general-discussions/add-navigation-buttons-to-repeater-or-layouter-slider-mode

Thanks Nicki!
You can find it in the Inspector panel on the right under the size options

How about adding an identifier that shows which slide you are one?
