I am onboarding new members to my Wix site by asking them to Sign Up. However, after they sign up - I do not see them under the Members page.
As a consequence, I cannot select a member and give him or her Blogger rights?
Help!

Hi,
Please contact Wix support at support@wix.com
Hi - I sent an email already, but no response? I sent it on 18th Feb.
Same problem. Wix support is underwhelming.
I also have the same issue. Any fixes?
Unable to see new members in the members area page. Please help.
I am having this problem but only with some members. At least I need to somehow delete this member and have them sign up once again. Please help!
After login go to My Account page(/account/my-account) and click âJoin Communityâ
I am having this same issue and it is a big problem. I need to be able to add new members as Writers but I can not do that properly if their profiles are not appearing on the Members page. I am very surprised this is an issue for Wix.
Does anyone have a solution to this? Thank you!
Okay I think I figured it out. It appears that the new user has to go into their profile and then click Make Profile Public. Then it will show up on the members area.
Are you using Wix own signup and login windows or are you using your own custom lightboxes for signup and login?
This makes a difference.
if you are using Wix own windows then you simply make sure that you have the âJoin the Site Communityâ checkbox ticked as default in the signup settings.
If you are using your own custom lightboxes, then you need to get the members to Join themselves from their own My Account page in the Wix Members app. (Exactly like what Janos added onto this post on 15th July).
Finally, note that this forum is for code related issues with your website and not for Wix Editor issues or issues with Wix apps that already have their own Wix Support pages for you to read through.
For issues with any of the above, then you need to be contacting Wix Support themselves, either by support ticket or direct by telephone.

There profile is not âpublicâ, it is only available to be seen by other existing site members only, if general public try to view their pages then they will get permissions error as not site members.
Thanks for the quick reply.
So is what I said not the proper solution with them enabling public profile?
I am using a custom light box because I need to.
I do not see the âJoin Communityâ button anywhere though. Can you show me a clear example of this?
I just checked and it appears that their profile is visible to the public.
Ig you do your own custom lightboxes for login and signup, which most of us have done already, then you canât use the Social Logins or the Join the Community checkbox that is available on the Wix own Window that you can have checked by default in the settings.

I have this option ticked by default even though I am using custom lightboxes too anyway.
So, if your site members have not joined the siteâs community when they become site members of your website, then they will not be able to use the Wix Blog and Forum apps until they do so.
For them to join up they simply need to click on the join button on their own my account page in the Wix Members app. https://support.wix.com/en/article/adding-a-members-area-to-your-site
Also, you would see it already if you had read the links supplied previously.

Finally, if you look at the My Account page link above, you will see the userâs own community url and note that it clearly states that it is their own personalised url that other members can see.
This is the same for each member, they can only view the other members pages if they are logged in as members themselves, otherwise they donât have the member permissions to view it.
You need to test anything using the Wix Users API on a published website and not just through the preview mode only, as currently you are logged on as Admin, whereas on the live site each member will only be able to view their own unique page.
I am using Wix own signup and login windows and all new members are not loading up. I verified that each memeber must join the site community, which is not the issue. Some members are uploaded and some are only showing up on the Wix edit page.
