New site!

I’d love to see what you all think of my new editor X site!

www.summitfit.co.uk

Still a bit of a rolling project, but it is largely finished!

Hi Jack.

I think the site looks really good. Off to a very good start.

I have a fast internet connection and 32 gig of ram … and the graphics on your site are taking a while to load. Not sure if this is a Wix specific issue (maybe if you tone down the animations the graphics will load faster)? Also, I use https://tinypng.com to reduce my graphic image sizes (maybe this is on your to do list?)

Cool site! Loading time should improve indeed, but overal nice work!

@jackrfwilliams Hey. Nice site! how did you get the top section to act as a background? with the parallax scrolling

Ah yeah, thank you for looking… And for the feedback! I’m frustrated with the loading time as I have reduced the file size  But I will keep working on it  Thank you!

Thank you! What you need to do is set the background height to 100vh and then expand an image to fill the section before setting the scroll effect to parralax in the settings for the image

How did you manage a loading screen?

Love it! The design and navigation work really well

Love the website and this the first website I’ve seen which makes use of the eCommerce suite and beautiful interactions.
I would love to know how you achieved those interaction effects, namely:

the on scroll image movement
Gradient color for the texts
Search bar functionality
on mouse hover image fade and glow effects
Gradient color overlay for the images
accordion effect with the ‘+’ for showing and hiding options
clip art on the buttons
Your review on the commerce suite, how is the cart functionality and the database connection and the triggers for checkout
In the Kilimanjaro page, hod you achieve the running number for the altitude and the accordion menu below it.
Should I be looking at the app market for those effects, or pre built themes in editor X or the cordova code editor?

This isn’t an Editor X website! I’ve just looked at the code and it’s been build on Wordpress with Elementor.

Looks slick
Although the load time is really high.

How did you do the hover effects on the buttons?
