Not able to change the colour of the line using developer tools

Hi all. I am new to using the dev tools of Wix, and I am trying to change the colour of a line in Wix, getting this error “property style does not exist on HiddenCollapsedElement Wix”
$w ( “#line12” ). style . backgroundColor = “#000000”
