I’m having trouble with Wix pages displaying differently on different devices. It is a page that should scroll down through images. But on my Macbook laptop, it puts the pictures side by side and won’t scroll at all. On my Ipad, it lines them up vertically and scrolls down. Below is the problem. The image below that is from another computer.
What I’m trying to do
This is for a student portfolio and we are worried about sending it out as a site and not know if the pages are going to display correctly.
The Wix Editor allows you to customize designs for each device (desktop, tablet, and mobile). Just to clarify, are you experiencing this issue even after making those specific adjustments?
I guess some design elements are meant to be displayed a bit differently on various devices to avoid collapses and blocks that are cut beyond the screen, etc.
This is actually a common issue when designing pages in the Wix Editor.
When you place elements outside the recommended page width, the layout can appear differently on different screen sizes or devices. To avoid this, make sure your elements stay within the vertical gridlines that Wix shows in the editor.
If you use elements that cannot stretch to full width (such as images or text boxes), keep them inside these gridlines. This helps ensure that the layout displays correctly on most devices and screen sizes.
