I know I can send an email via the contact form app, but I need a custom form with a drop-down button on my forms.

  • recreate a send button for custom forms
  • drop down button added to contact forms.
  • ability to use the same email path that WIX uses " parastorage.com ". So can still have the wix app alert updates, etc.

Please create an api call to access your parastorage email service.

Or extend the contact form with a simple drop down form element. I prefer this approach of adding drop down element to existing forms.

I need the same functionality of the drop-down menu option on a contact form. Jacob did you find any solution?

As far as I am aware this is not available unless you find a way to code it into your web-page yourself.

I personally was not able to find a work around for WIX regarding drop down buttons, unless you want to use add on applications. Which have limitations and add cost depending on how much you use.

WIX current solution for people is to refer them to their add on premium applications to create custom form (personally the forms are not customization enough for me) & you are limited to how many. It adds cost to your website and adds complexity to the website.

Personally using the Apps, wasn’t a viable solution for my needs since I want to 100% customize my form and the amount of questions asked. If you use an add on application now you have to route your emails to another platform, which can add more cost and complexity, as well.

There is multiple form application hosted by WIX, check them out in the App section to see if meet your needs.

agreed. I would love a drop down box to categorize my incoming emails. I know potential clients can put it in their subject line, but a drop down box would be nearly idiot proof.
