Pass a parameter between forms

When a user clicks submit after completing Form 1 they will be directed to Form 2. I would like it to pull inputs within certain fields from Form 1 into Read only fields in Form 2. Please could you point me in the right direction? Thanks

Both forms are located on the same page? Do you save the information of the first form before moving to the second form?

Yes Form 1 would be linked to Form 2 by a 1 to many relationship. I would ideally like to have a nested Form 2 within Form 1.
