I think there might be with a Custom Element and some CSS. I have not tried yet, but I plan to do so soon. I’ll post my update once I found something interesting.
You’re right (I think this question was asked before custom elements were available). But now you can create a custom element and set its style position to “fixed”.

Create a lightbox, put the elements on the lightbox and then reduce the backgrounnd overlay’s opacity to zero. Set the trigger to automatically appear on the page you want and just delete the X or close button so that users cant cross it out. thats how i made a sticky/pinned button on to stick to the bottom of my page and it works fine.
